IBERDISC started the sales of an ecologic and completly flexible disc with all functions of a DVD. The disc can be reproduced in all computers, DVD players and notebooks without a slot in drive. The production of this disc just need the half of polycarbonate and no bounding and makes the disc more ecologic.



IBERDISC takes over ODS Poland One to One – 05.03.2008

Iberdisc Optical Storage Solutions SL in Spain has announced the takeover of the production facilities in Goleniow, Poland, formerly owned by the ODS group, which announced insolvency in Poland and Germany. According to Iberdisc, it will aim to re-employ the majority of the 850 employees who lost their jobs through the insolvency. Iberdisc will concentrate its efforts in Poland on the production of standard and high definition media: "Due to the central European situation Iberdisc can now supply its customers in Europe faster and is able to expand its net of customers further," says the company. As well as resuming production at the Goleniow plant, Iberdisc is opening the first high definition plant in Spain, at the Malaga 'Parque Technologico', which will provide BD mastering and replication.
