IBERCREATIVE´s new AUDIOLIGHT BOX
The AUDIOLIGHT BOX / performs the following functions:
1. It receives signals from an ultrasound presence detector, smoothly turning up the lights when anyone passes through the doorway and enters the room.
2. It incorporates a dimmer switch, which regulates the intensity of light in the room to provide appropriate lighting for different phases of the work process.
3. It can activate the energy saving mode, prompted by the activity sensor in the room.
4. Each time recording begins, it cuts out the monitor, at the same time activating the red “recording” light.
The box incorporates a processor that continuously receives signals from the ultrasound sensor and the computer. Based on the signals it receives, it regulates the level of light to suit the type of activity underway in the room. It also activates or deactivates the monitor during recording, as well as turning the red “recording” light on and off.
The lighting in the recording room can set at three different levels of intensity. The first is the brightest, and it is activated when the audio program is shut down. The second is an intermediate level, activated when the audio program starts up. The third is a subdued lighting level, activated when the sound engineer presses “play” or “record” in the audio program.
When the processor detects an extended period of inactivity, it enters energy-saving mode. In this mode, the lights are switched off, as is all equipment connected to the box (TV, sound monitor, headphone amplifier etc) All these elements are turned on again when the processor detects activity, either from the door sensor, or from the audio program.
When the audio program is in use, the door sensor is deactivated, to avoid changes in light levels (and the consequent disruption of the working atmosphere) if anyone enters or leaves the room.
